“The Next War is for Information (Cyber War):” Need Security and Privacy about Information

As of now, the age that we are living called Information Age. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, there is an increasing in the rate of online activities in many forms. Many of us have used digital platform in form of Computer and Mobile device over internet. This increases the online activity and generates lot of information. There are some questions raised in our minds- How information is going to be stored and where it can handle? Or is it secured or not? This happens because we have used the free version of application and that are kept in their own data centers. But we also wonder if they have kept our data safe or not.

All questions are required for covering new technology domains with data itself i.e., Machine Learning, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Cloud Computing etc. which are good when sufficient and integral data are provided. Today’s technologies have tremendous change in their operating features and would be able to change the world. The following are things to be carried out with our Information and to ensure whether it will be secure or not.

1.       Confidentiality/Privacy/ Secrecy

2.       Integrity of data/Correct information

3.       Availability/ With the time

The Information age needs to be accurate and reliable information, which is extracted from raw data. The secrecy of our data has a very big and challenging task in the current scenario. That’s why, in the next decade, the Cyber security domain will play a vital role. It would require the same rules and regulation for the crime activities as in the physical world. The 50% market capture about the services is provided through cyber security engineer. This is laid down on the ground level with the help of good and smart cyber security professional. Everyone should be ready for future expectations as a new technology’s worriers.
